Ewetopia Weaving Studio
Heddles, reeds, dents, epi, shuttles.... the language of weaving

Ewetopia proudly announces Kay
Bertrand, weaver of 20 years and
former Riverbend Arts Center
weaving instructor.
Instruction is on Wednesday afternoons in the Ewetopia Weaving Studio in the lower level of the shop. Weaving is a process used to produce clothing, rugs, scarves, shawls, towels, placemats, and other items that are constructed from a flat piece of cloth.
Classes started April 1st and are weekly from 1-4 pm. Classes run in 6 week sessions. Students will weave a sampler, experimenting with weaves, color and technique. Looms are provided by the instructor but limit the class size. Stop in today for a tour of the "loom room" and to meet with Kay.
